Each mountain is cast with acrylic polymer and plaster of Paris, giving you a detailed and strong piece of art which is then hand painted, paying special attention to the snow as this is a part of the creation which brings the sculpture to life. High in the Scottish mountains, snow can last through the summer months and it is this important feature that we wanted to capture through art.
Due to the sheer number of mountains and hills in the UK, we are not short of sculptures to make, so keep an eye on our website for future Miniature Mountains.
Our business is based in Midlothian, Scotland where your mountain sculpture will be crafted by hand, painted, quality checked and packed prior to posting. If you would like to commission a mountain for a special occasion, then please do get in touch. Maybe it was your first hike, you got engaged, or even married and would like to celebrate the occasion with a beautiful handmade unique gift.
