About Jason

Edinburgh based sculptor Jason Burns loves keeping fit through hiking and cycling.

Being outdoors and exposed to the elements in Scotland makes me feel alive, especially during the winter months when I can get layered up, venture into the hills to take some photos of our stunning scenery. 

I’ve had a fascination for hills and mountains from a young age, gazing up at the snowy peaks and the corries which hold snow well into the summer months.

This brings me onto Miniature Mountains, I wanted those days in the hills or mountains to last forever. So why not bring that mountain experience back home or to your desk at work? There is nothing remotely like my sculptures in the shops or online so the idea was born to create a product that’s going to keep giving you a constant reminder of that special day in the mountains with your friends or family. You can now have a detailed mountain at home to show your friends and family that tricky decent or where you stopped for that well deserved sandwich with a view!
